COVID-19 GROOMING POLICY
CONDITIONS UNDER WHICH WE ACCEPT DOGS FOR GROOMING
Due to the current Covid-19 pandemic the way in which we work and groom your dogs has changed dramatically. We can only groom dogs for welfare reasons. Whilst we will be adhering to the strictest guidelines to reduce the spread of the disease. It must be clearly understood that clients wishing to have their dogs groomed at this time, do so at their own risk and must agree to our terms and conditions.
Anybody self isolating, classed as vulnerable or showing any symptoms, MUST NOT under any circumstances attend a grooming appointment.

Whilst we will be adhering to the strictest guidelines to reduce the spread of the disease. It must be clearly understood that clients wishing to have their dogs groomed at this time, do so at their own risk and must agree to our terms and conditions.
Anybody self isolating, classed as vulnerable or showing any symptoms, MUST NOT under any circumstances attend a grooming appointment.
- Please come up the drive.
- On arrival press the intercom bell, it is a walkie talkie and we are still getting used to it.
- The gate will be closed once you are on the yard, if this doesn't happen please tell us.
- You must bring your dog on a lead as this allows us to keep a reasonable distance.
- You are not permitted through the salon door.
- We ask ALL clients to follow hygiene procedures put in place to minimise cross contamination.
- Someone will come out to collect your dog, you will be required to step back behind the barrier before we can approach your dog.
- We will bring your dog into the salon.
- We require at least 24hrs notice of cancellations failure to do so will result in a cancellation fee payable before any further appointments can be made.
- We can accept cash or contactless payments, which MUST be completed PRIOR to collection of your dog.
- You MUST drop off/pick up at the stated time. This avoids overlap of clients.
- Only one client is permitted in the drop off/pick up zones at a time. Times are purposely staggered to ensure this.
- You are not permitted to wait in the yard while your dog is being groomed as this restricts other clients from entering.
- Any dogs arriving 5 minutes late may have to be rebooked and a late fee will apply to cover loss of earnings. Uncollected dogs of more than 5 minutes will be charged a sitting fee as this may result in the next client having to be postponed or even cancelled!
- All dogs must arrive thoroughly brushed /combed out, as they must be bathed immediately.
- We do however understand that in these difficult times they may have not been professionally groomed for some time, we ask that you read the Matted Dog Policy below, as by agreeing to this contract you give us permission to clip a matted coat. We will try our very best to maintain the desired style but any knotted or matted coats will be clipped short.
- Dogs requiring extensive extra work may incur an extra charge.
- On arrival to pick up your dog please proceed to the pick up door and wait.
- After the grooming procedure, as a precaution your dog will be misted down with a pet safe, non toxic, non irritant anti viral spray (Leucillin). However it must be understood that if in the unlikely event a reaction occurred, we cannot be held liable.
